TONY MEREDITH

DANCE DIRECTOR

Tony Meredith is a professional ballroom dancer, choreographer and United States Professional Latin Champion. Meredith currently serves as the Dance Director at Danceville, U.S.A. He is the co-organizer of Chicago Crystal Ball, Aloha Ball, and just recently founded ICON DanceSport, a one-day industry awards event in Columbus, Ohio, which debuted on October 17, 2015.

Meredith's expertise extends to films, TV shows and Broadway, including feature film performances in Dance with Me, The Thomas Crown Affair, Let It Be Me and The Last Days of Disco. He has co-hosted multiple seasons of the PBS series America's Ballroom Challenge with both Marilu Henner and Mary Murphy. More recently, Meredith and his former dance partner Melanie LaPatin have appeared regularly as guest choreographers on the FOX dance competition reality show So You Think You Can Dance.

KEITH MICHAEL

Keith Michael began ballroom dancing at the age of 16. Taking a three-year hiatus from teaching to attend The Ohio State University, where he earned a B.A. in Journalism, he has been teaching for 15 years. Keith Michael is a national competitor in American Smooth and is currently working on new American Rhythm routines.

KYLIE KOCHERT

PR/MARKETING DIRECTOR & INSTRUCTOR


Kylie began gymnastics when she was three years old and continued the discipline through high school. After competing for over six years, she decided to transition from gymnastics to ballroom dancing as an amateur bronze student. Over time, Kylie intensified her training and in 2014, became a professional dancer, instructor and competitor. Kylie also serves as the PR/Marketing Director for Danceville, U.S.A. ascertaining steady studio growth and overseeing all local and national media coverage.
 
Sean Lyons | Danceville, U.S.A. | Columbus, OH
SEAN LYONS

INSTRUCTOR


Sean began ballroom dancing at the age of 15. As he grew older, his hobby of danced matured into a passion for competitive dancesport in both the collegiate and amateur championship circuit. Post-college, Sean pursued a career in finance. When he heard Danceville, U.S.A. was seeking an instructor, he traded one life path for another and hasn't looked back! Sean has competed both domestically and internationally, making several appearances on ABC's Dancing With the Stars. He is currently working on new American Rhythm routines.

CORINNE SMITH

INSTRUCTOR


Corinne began ballroom dancing at the age of 16. Prior to ballroom, she trained in ballet, hip hop and modern styles. In 2007, Corinne began competing as an amateur in all four styles of ballroom. As a student, Corinne went on to win several titles including 2010 Silver Rhythm Champion and 2011 Silver 10-Dance Champion. After earning a B.A. in Dance and teaching at a studio in Atlanta, Corinne pursued a move to Columbus, Ohio to begin her competitive dancing career. She is a national competitor in American Smooth and is currently working on new American Rhythm routines.

 
Brianna Novotny | Danceville, U.S.A. | Columbus, OH
BRIANNA NOVOTNY

INSTRUCTOR

Brianna grew up training and performing in multiple disciplines of dance including ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical. She also trained as a synchronized ice skater for 10 years, winning many sectional titles. Brianna discovered ballroom at age 15 and continues to pursue training in all four styles of ballroom dance. She is currently working on new American Smooth routines.
 
KYLE JOHNSON

INSTRUCTOR


Kyle has been performing onstage for most of his adult life. He studied musical theatre in college and has worked at multiple professional theater companies as an actor in several principal roles. Kyle is trained in multiple styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary. Using his dance background as catalyst, he joined the Danceville team in December 2016 as a ballroom dance instructor and loves sharing his passion of dance and performing with his students.

CINDI PARKER

ACCOUNTING

Cindi discovered dance about four years ago when she and her husband Bill wanted to prepare for their son's wedding. After falling in love with it, she followed Keith Michael to Columbus, Ohio. She gave up tennis, her friends and life as she knew it to become a well-dressed showgirl. She continues to dance today, in the chase for that elusive first place. Hell, at this point she would be happy with third place. She now does bookkeeping for the studio.


ARIENNE ACUFF

RECEPTIONIST

Arienne stumbled across the studio one evening in September of 2016 and immediately felt at home. She started as a student and then joined the Danceville, U.S.A. team as a part-time receptionist. Arienne works full-time as a chemist for Nestle Quality Assurance Center. She takes great joy in sharing her love of dance with everyone who walks into the studio!

WHITNEY SIMS

RECEPTIONIST

Whitney stumbled upon ballroom dancing in November 2014 during a cold Gallery Hop. She began dancing as a student, fell in love with it and is now a part of the Danceville, U.S.A. team as a part-time receptionist. Whitney currently works full-time at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She loves sharing her passion for dance with all those who walk through the studio doors!

JENNIFER GOODMAN

RECEPTIONIST


Jennifer discovered ballroom dance while walking through the Short North in the summer of 2016. She started as a student and is now a part-time receptionist for Danceville U.S.A. Jennifer is a Respiratory Therapist at both University Hospital East and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She is also a belly dancer and volunteers at Global Gifts, just around the corner from Danceville U.S.A. She loves sharing her enthusiasm for dance with everyone who steps into the ballroom.
